Armenia, Belize

Armenia is a real village. It is in the Cayo District, located directly on the Hummingbird Highway (Mile 46), 8 miles south of Belmopan, 4 miles north of Blue Hole, and about 2 miles north of Caves Branch. It is in the foothills of the Maya Mountains, and there is an extensive cave system in the area. In normal traffic, it's about a 45 minute drive from Cahal Pech.

There is a large sign proudly announcing the Rudimentary Water System as you enter town, a bar, and not much else.
